Contest Rules
TO ENTER: Have one of the tear-out ballots in this Contest booklet stamped by a Mandarin staff with purchase at any Mandarin Restaurant for buffet dine-in, pick-up, take-out, or show your Mandarin Delivery receipt (third party delivery services/apps (such as UberEats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, etc.) are not eligible and take-out and Mandarin Delivery orders must be for a minimum purchase of CAD $25.00 pre-tax and delivery fees in order to be eligible for a stamp). Limit one stamp per person per day. Once you have received three (3) stamps on the same ballot, fully complete that ballot and deposit it in the ballot box in at your chosen Mandarin restaurant before restaurant closing on October 31, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to residents of the Province of Ontario who, at the time of entry in the Contest, have reached the age of majority in Ontario, except employees (and those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of Mandarin Restaurant Franchise Corporation (the “Sponsor”), its franchisees, contractors, external auditors, prize suppliers, their advertising and promotional agencies, and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Contest.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the full Contest rules available in restaurant and at www.mandarinrestaurant.com (the “Website”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. See full rules for no purchase necessary entry mechanism.
PRIZES: Semi-Finalist Prizes: There are a total minimum of Two Hundred and Forty (240) semi-finalist prizes available to be won in the Contest (based on thirty (30) Mandarin Restaurant locations and eight (8) monthly contest entry periods and corresponding monthly draws, between April 8, 2024 and November 8, 2024) (see full rules for details). Each semi-finalist prize consists of 10 vouchers for one (1) dine-in dinner buffet. Some restrictions apply. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each semi-finalist prize is $370.00. The odds of winning any semi-finalist prize depend on the number of eligible Contest entries received at, or associated with, each Mandarin Restaurant location during or for each applicable monthly entry period.
Grand Prizes: There are a total of fifty-five (55) grand prizes available to be won by semi-finalist winners, as follows: five (5) electric vehicles (ARV: $63,257); ten (10) $10,000 cash prizes; ten (10) vacation packages (ARV: $10,840); thirty (30) “Mandarin Buffet for a Year” dine-in buffet meal vouchers (ARV: up to $15,920) (see full rules for a complete description of the prizes). The grand prizes will be awarded among the semi-finalist prize winners at a Grand Prize Draw Party, which is scheduled to take place on or about November 23, 2024 at The Garden Banquet & Convention Centre in Brampton (see full rules for details). The approximate odds of a semi-finalist winning a grand prize are as follows: electric vehicle: 1 in 38; cash prizes: 1 in 21; vacation packages: 1 in 20; and “Mandarin Buffet for a Year”: 1 in 8.
In order to win a semi-finalist prize and a grand prize, each selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and must sign the Sponsor’s Contest declaration and release form. Entrants consent to the use of their name and/or photograph without compensation, in any future publicity by Sponsor.
Decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Contest are final and binding.
